Good Morning Church,
Today is day 13 on our 40 day journey to bring ourselves closer to God. Today’s text is Matt 24:20 and Mark 13:18
Matthew 21:18-22
20"But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath.
Mark 13:1818"But pray that it may not happen in the winter.
Too many times we only go to God during the hard times. I am guilty of this, it seems that when things are going good we forget it is God giving us the good times. When things go bad we want to blame God for what is happening.
God wants us to pray to Him when things are going bad, I just think He would like to hear from us during the good times also.

Okay...is there anyone else out there that these verses really confuse?? I am truly confused on how they fit where we are going...I see paying in crisis, but what exactly these verses reference have always been a mystery to me. Is Jesus referencing the end of time (see vs 24-26) or is He referencing the fall of Jerusalem (vs 1-2)which will happen in the lifetime of these disciples and was a horrible, horrible thing???
