40 Days...Day 3

Good Morning Church,

Today is day 3 of our 40 Days of Prayer with Jesus. I hope you have been keeping up with your prayers every day. If not, then let me encourage you to start today. You can catch up with us by reviewing the following:

Day 1- “The Messiah’s Prayer life Predicted” Psalms 2:7-9
and
Day 2- Jesus’ Teaching On Prayer for Enemies Matthew 5:43-44

Day 3:
Matthew 6:5-8 (NAS)5"When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. 6"But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 7"And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. 8"So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

What an awesome statement “our Father knows what we need before we ask Him”.

Please spend a few minutes today and reflect and meditate on this passage, then spend some quality time in prayer with our Heavenly Father.

  1. Thanks! If God knows what we need before we ask, do you think he just enjoys us coming to him?? I like to think so!
